The 2005 Pontiac Vibe is a grand four-door, five-passenger carrying car that is available in four different trims, ranging from the base 1.8 liter to the GT. The GT is fitted with a 158 hp, a 2.4 liter standard, balancing out with a four-valve intake system. SOMETIMES YOU JUST WANT PLAIN VANILLA

OK, so the 2005 Pontiac Vibe is your basic suburban sportshauler -- I'm not going to lie and say it's exciting or anything. It's pleasant, comfortable to drive, and it won't jeopardize the kids' college fun to put in the garage. Its all-wheel drive gets you where you're going, in about any kind of weather -- what more could you ask for?
There are a few spicy touches, however, on the 2005 Pontiac Vibe, such as a laptop shelf that folds from the back of the front passenger seat (complete with plug-in outlet). Family drivers may want to investigage further, in the photos, specs, reviews and other automotive goodies we've got going. If you're impressed with the features/price combo, we've got financing info for you too.

2005 Pontiac Vibe

The 2005 Pontiac Vibe is a small station wagon. It is an ideal choice for families that prefer not to invest in costly alternatives, like SUVs.

The performance of the 2005 Pontiac Vibe is commendable. The 1.8-liter double cam front-side I4 engine has a stunning mileage of 36 mpg on highways and 30 mpg in cities. The base model offers the option between manual (five-speed) and automatic (four-speed) transmission, delivering 130 hp in the front-wheel drive model. An optional supercharger can be installed with the engine to increase the horsepower.

It is difficult to believe that such a compact hatchback can incorporate as many features as the 2005 Pontiac Vibe does. Not only is there an anti-skid system, but also safety features like multiple airbags, StabiliTrak (a system to enhance the stability of the vehicle), and monitoring of tire pressure.
